When you are just getting back from a tropical vacation, you had heaps of fresh seafood, and you want to continue the holiday spirit; then why not make this Fresh Market Fish Ceviche.
This simple dish is easy to prepare and fun to share. I like to make this fresh fish dish for our family summer BBQs. These fresh ingredients are always a crowd pleaser and it really takes very little effort to make! š
Fresh Market Fish Ceviche
Ingredients
- 1 cup white fish, skin off, diced
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 can coconut cream
- 1 tbs fish sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 spring onion, chopped
- 1/2 yellow capsicum, small dice
- 1/2 red capsicum, small dice
- 1/2 white onion, small dice
- 2 tsp chili flales
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 lemon or lime zest
Directions
- Take your white fish fillets and dice them into small cubes
- Let finely diced white fish cure in lemon/lime juice for 20 minutes; the fish will change color slightly
- After about 20 minutes of curing, then mix in capsicum, spring onion, onion, and mix well
- Mix in coconut cream, fish sauce, sugar, chili flakes, coriander leaves, and mix well
- Serve chilled and enjoy!!!
