Fresh Market Fish Ceviche

When you are just getting back from a tropical vacation, you had heaps of fresh seafood, and you want to continue the holiday spirit; then why not make this Fresh Market Fish Ceviche.

This simple dish is easy to prepare and fun to share. I like to make this fresh fish dish for our family summer BBQs. These fresh ingredients are always a crowd pleaser and it really takes very little effort to make! šŸ˜€

Fresh Market Fish Ceviche

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white fish, skin off, diced
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 can coconut cream
  • 1 tbs fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 spring onion, chopped
  • 1/2 yellow capsicum, small dice
  • 1/2 red capsicum, small dice
  • 1/2 white onion, small dice
  • 2 tsp chili flales
  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 lemon or lime zest

Directions

  1. Take your white fish fillets and dice them into small cubes
  2. Let finely diced white fish cure in lemon/lime juice for 20 minutes; the fish will change color slightly
  3. After about 20 minutes of curing, then mix in capsicum, spring onion, onion, and mix well
  4. Mix in coconut cream, fish sauce, sugar, chili flakes, coriander leaves, and mix well
  5. Serve chilled and enjoy!!!
